Custom or Commissioned Wood Sculptures...

Currently I am selling my original wood carvings exclusively through ebay. There is a link to my ebay listings on my "available carvings" page. I put many hours into my sculptures, and my supply cannot keep up with the current demand. I love the creative process involved in designing and carving original sculptures. My passion is being able to create the ideas and imaginations in my mind in the visual form of sculpture, and this passion is what personally drives and inspires me with enthusiasm to carve with excellence and quality. It is this personal love for carving original sculptures and the fact that I only have time to carve a very limited number of wood carvings, that I usually do not take commissions(custom orders). On occasion however, I may take some commission requests.

Understandably, the first question you probably have is what a commission will cost. To give you an idea, the most popular sculpture requests I currently receive are for Chainsaw Carved standing bears from one to four feet high and the current minimum price for this is 200.00 per foot plus shipping. In order to give an exact price for your commission request, however, I first need some more information as wood carving is very time extensive work, and there are many variables involved. The price can vary greatly depending on many factors. Some information I need is what subject you want carved, what pose, size(height, diameter, etc.), style and look(realistic, rustic, compared to a sculpture you may have seen, etc.), amount of detail, type of wood, where it will be kept, and any other information you can think of that may help. The more information the better.
